This is part two of my diary series looking at what the effects of redistricting on the 2010 and 2012 house elections would have been had it taken place after 2008 instead of the 2010 elections. In the first part, I examined the shift in control over line drawing state by state and the impact it would have on the 2010 midterms. The result would have been that Democrats won 24 more seats, leaving us just 1 short of the 218 needed for control of the house. Part two will look at how the 2012 elections might have turned out given the differences in district lines.
